What is the QuickStart™ Leadership Training Program?

The QSL (QuickStart™ Leadership) Training Program reduces the complexity of motivation and leadership theory to its basic concepts, then provides turn-key solutions designed to significantly enhance leadership effectiveness and increase employee productivity. The program focuses on the practical application of learning that impacts results, productivity and retention.

Who Should Participate?

Although anyone interested in developing their leadership skills is invited, the QuickStart™ Leadership Training Program is specifically designed for:

  • Seasoned Managers seeking to refresh their leadership skills and learn new techniques to motivate and empower their employees.

  • Mid-career Managers looking for leadership techniques.

  • Entry-level Managers seeking to develop their leadership competency and gain an understanding of what is expected of leaders in today’s workplace.

What’s Included?

Step OneStep 1: The Leadership Style ProfileSM (LSP).
The LSP measures a participant’s Eight Leadership Traits. Upon taking the LSP, each participant will be given his or her printed results with a verbal interpretation for future use and reference. Completion time: 1 hour.

Step TwoStep 2: The QuickStart™ Leadership Workbook.
Each participant tackles the most important components of leadership: empowerment, productivity and personal growth. Reinforcing the ideas presented in Dr. Craft’s ground-breaking book, QuickStart™ Leadership, the self-paced course is divided into 7 checkpoints, each corresponding to a chapter in the book. These checkpoints reinforce the key concepts of leadership and cover such topics as: motivation, communication, team building, recruiting, selection, retention, secrets of leadership success and maximizing horsepower. Each checkpoint includes application questions and activities designed to apply these principles and demonstrate mastery of the material. Completion time: Average of 4-6 weeks, self-paced.

Step ThreeStep 3: Attend an on-site QSL Workshop. (OPTIONAL)
Participants are invited to attend an optional on-site QuickStart™ Leadership Workshop. Here, participants will get an opportunity to reinforce the principles and skills they’ve learned through role-playing and simulation exercises with fellow participants. An emphasis is placed on strengthening the skills and unique characteristics needed to be effective leaders. Workshops can be conducted at CraftSystems’ corporate headquarters in Tampa Bay, Florida or at the client’s location. A certificate of completion is awarded to participants completing the entire program. Completion time: 1 day.
